PHYSICS AND ASTRONOMY EDUCATIONBrief VitaDr. Duckett earned a B.S. in Physics from Georgia Tech in 1958, an M.S. in Physics at The University of Colorado in 1961, and the Ph.D. degree from The University of Tennessee in 1964. He worked as a research physicist at American Enka (textile fiber manufacturer) during 1958-59 and as a research associate at Southern Regional Research Laboratory (USDA) in 1965-66. He has participated in the US-India scientist exchange program and as a visiting lecturer at China Textile University (Shanghai).
