Current Undergraduate Physics Students
The physics department at the University of Tennessee provides a flexible learning environment for undergraduate majors.
Our students can choose from two degree options (physics and engineering physics) and four concentrations to tailor an academic program that best meets their needs. Small classes offer students personal attention from a nationally-recognized faculty. Part-time employment in our department acquaints physics majors with hands-on laboratory design and development, as well as computer-aided data acquisition and control. Research opportunities with faculty members offer first-hand experience in professional physics collaborations. A bachelor's degree in physics or engineering physics from the University of Tennessee offers students exceptional preparation for advanced study or professional employment.
