Richard PrinceDean's Student Advisory Council (DSAC): Richard Prince is a third year biophysics major currently serving his first year on the Dean's Student Advisory Council. As one of two representatives to the dean for the Department of Physics and Astronomy, Richard is happy to hear any comments or concerns that you have.


Information for Current Undergraduate Physics Students

The physics department at the University of Tennessee provides a flexible learning environment for undergraduate majors. Our students can choose from degree options in four concentrations to tailor an academic program that best meets their needs. Small classes offer students personal attention from a nationally-recognized faculty. Part-time employment in our department acquaints physics majors with hands-on laboratory design and development, as well as computer-aided data acquisition and control. Research opportunities with faculty members offer first-hand experience in professional physics collaborations.
